Part Time Evening Culinary Assistant

The Dietary Assistant has the opportunity to positively impact the lives of residents, guests, family members, and team members on a daily basis. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality food service and hospitality, contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality culinary services that meet the needs of residents and guests
  • Support a dining environment that promotes dignity, comfort, and respect

  • Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • Participate in in-service education and training opportunities
  • Follow all regulatory and company standards
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support resident care
  • Serve as a reliable and positive team member

Schedule:

  • 3:00 PM -- 8:00 PM
  • Every other weekend off

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds consistently
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching above head and below waist
  • Ability to push, pull, and move food, equipment, and supplies
  • Ability to tolerate heat, steam, and food-related environments
  • Ability to safely use kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to read labels, recipes, thermometers, and measuring tools
  • Ability to move between areas while carrying items
